SparklerWelcome to the Christmas season. It’s time again to celebrate all that Christmas means, but this year it’s time to go further. It’s time to bring the glory back to Christmas. Isaiah 9:2 says, “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.” (KJV)  We have let the light of our Christian faith go out in our nation and in this precious season so dedicated to remembering the birth of our savior. We have let the light of His glory go out in our communities and in our families. The great light that once sat on a hill, the hill of our nations capital, has been hidden under the bushel basket of church buildings and Sunday mornings.  It’s time to return, to bring the light back to our words, back to our faces, back to our faith that God will yet, one more time, fill this great nation of ours with His glory, from sea to shinning sea.

Numbers 14:21 prophecies, “All the earth shall be filled with His glory.”

We must return to His glory. We must learn again to walk in His glory and take it in renewed hope back to the streets, back to the schools, back to the court house, back to the White House, to all of the world, and to the corner of the world in which we live. From the humble manger of long ago to the magnificent mansions of our present day, God is going to once again send His presence, and all earth will be filled with His glory! But will you and I resist or will we release. Come with me this Christmas season as every few days I reveal from the prophecies of Christmas and the Christmas story how God intends to once again release His glory in all the earth.
